Uncovering Business Opportunities

You've got a product, you've got customers - but there's so much you don't know about where you are and how you can extract more value from your current customers and extend your market to new ones.
In this workshop, you'll generate hypotheses about how you're currently providing value and new ways in which you can make your product more valuable or extend to new market segments. We'll go through exercises that will help you discover:
- how your current customers are using your product
- where you're providing the greatest value to your current customers
- how those customers would 'sell' your product to their peers
- what problems your customers still have that you're not solving yet
You'll leave this workshop with hypotheses to test and the interview scripts and surveys that you can use immediately to start validating those hypotheses.
About Cindy Alvarez
Cindy is the author of the book "Lean Customer Development: Build Products Your Customers Will Buy". She runs User Experience for Yammer (a Microsoft company). She has been helping companies build better products through intensely understanding their customers for over 14 years. Her background spans psychology, interaction design, product management, customer research, and lean startup tactics.
